With the maturity of streaming services content producers have more opportunities than ever before. Content is king in today’s media broadcasting and streaming companies. Companies bid for libraries of films, and production studios produce more and more quality content to keep up with demand.

BSEG is well positioned to leverage the growth in content creation by bringing together a creative and driven team of writers, directors, producers, and actors. Together we are a strong, lean and flexible team with creative chops in multiple areas.

Creating and managing the Big Screen Content Development Team will be headed up by Kimberley Kates, Michael Manasseri, Julien Deka, Ben Deka, Stephen Eckelberry, JP Epstein, Sandro Monetti, Olivia DeLaurentis, Adam Cushman, Asligul Armagan, and Muriel Naim. We will be adding more members as we green-light more projects, and our content library grows.

With the new film fund which will help finance 3 – 5 projects per year, we are excited working together with such a creative group of individuals. Quality content will be focused on the ever growing streaming market such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and many other number of growing broadcasters and streamers.

SANDRO MONETTI - HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT

Multi-award winning writer Sandro Monetti’s hit projects include Marilyn and Sinatra, a sell-out play in New York, Los Angeles and London’s West End that is now available as an audio book.

In addition to his acclaimed work for the stage and screen, he is also the author of two best-selling books, the biographies of movie stars Mickey Rourke and Colin Firth, and a two-time journalist of the year nominee.

Sandro is a regular contributor on CNN and the BBC as an entertainment industry expert, is also an expert on history and serves as a member of the board of directors of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in Los Angeles.

OLIVIA DELAURENTIS

Olivia DeLaurentis is a 2018 graduate of UCLA’s Screenwriting Program. Her short films, which she has written, directed, and acted in since age twelve, have been screened in festivals such as the L.A. Film Fest, Soho International Film Festival, and the International Student Film Festival, Hollywood.

DeLaurentis also won the Women in Film Promise in Television Award and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Mike Wallace Memorial Scholarship. She is half of a YouTube sketch-comedy duo, Barely Legal Comedy, along with comedian Sydney Heller. The duo created a web-series entitled Sugar Babies, and have won several improv competitions across Los Angeles. DeLaurentis has also acted in television shows such as The Cool Kids, Henry Danger, and Lilo and Stitch: The Series.

MURIEL NAIM

Muriel Naim is a Director & Writer of film, television and theatre, emerging from Tel-Aviv’s Art & literature scene. She currently lives in Los Angeles.

Muriel graduated with honors from Thelma Yellin School of Arts, where she mentored under Israeli-Lithuanian theater director Arthur Kogan. While studying in the MFA Film Directing program at CalArts, Muriel wrote, directed and shot the five-minute short JAVIER. The film was selected to open the 2016 Annual Film Directors Showcase at REDCAT, and has since been distributed to several international companies. She recently graduated from the Directing program at the AFI Conservatory, where she was awarded the Irwin & Sheila Allen Scholarship and mentored under Oscar-winning Director/Writer Asghar Farhadi. Her film Janek / Bastard has awarded her Best Directing award and the Bali Film Festival, and is currently screening in a few international festivals.

Muriel’s films delve into the cores of the human condition, explore taboo, emotion and transgression through visceral storytelling, and evoke the classical narrative structure.

CATHERINE TAYLOR

British/Australian writer/director Catherine resides in Los Angeles. Her films have been screened at Academy Award qualifying festivals, and won awards from sources from BFI/BAFTA to Gorezone Horror Magazine. In addition to multiple shorts, her work includes TEMPTATION (feature), TV’s BUILDING A GREENER BRITAIN and fashion content for brands such as Tom Ford and Stella McCartney.

Catherine holds an MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute and Summa Cum Laude degrees in Film & TV Production as well as English & Fine Arts. A Fulbright Scholar and recipient of scholarships/fellowships from BAFTA LA (twice), BUNAC, BBFC and Film London, she was 17 when her fiction was first published. Her work frequently draws from true stories and historical events.

ROBERT C. LASKOWSKI - SEC COUNSEL

His principal practice areas involve all aspects of business and corporate law, with a special emphasis on federal and state securities law matters, involving the SEC, NASD and state securities administrators for issuers, broker-dealers and investment advisers. His office is involved in the representation of development-stage, start-up and emerging businesses, as well as seasoned companies, in public and private equity and debt financings, venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, proxy solicitations, and SEC periodic reporting compliance. Clients have also been represented before federal and state regulatory agencies in securities law enforcement matters. Mr. Laskowski is a member of the Oregon State Bar. He has written and lectured on federal and state securities laws matters for continuing legal education programs.

THE DEKA BROTHERS - CONTENT CREATORS AND CLIENT

Japanese Anime, US films and European literature shaped their imagination and this influence can still be seen today in their most recent productions.

The Deka brothers grew up in the countryside of France. As kids, They started their career in the city of Poitiers (France) with the French artistic collective Les Films de la Lymphe. Between 2000 and 2010, the collective produced about 60 music videos and short films, and the Deka Brothers crafted their skills as cinematographers, editors, VFX artists and directors.

The brothers started to make a name for themselves in the metal music video industry in Europe. Meanwhile, they wrote, produced and directed their feature film debut Sodium Babies which earned them the attention of Hollywood agencies.

After the international recognition of their homemade indie movie, the Deka Bothers moved to the States to work with producer Kimberley Kates on several projects with Big Screen Entertainment Group, including the feature film Sucker (as Directors of Photography and Visual FX supervisors), as well as music videos and commercials.

They continue to travel back and forth to France where they direct artistic avant-garde projects.

Ben and Julien recently received the 2012 MTV Music Video Award for Best Visual Effects for their work on Skrillex’s First of the year (Equinox), directed by Tony T. Datis.

ANITA GREGORY - CONSULTANT FOR DEVELOPMENT FOR REALITY TELEVISION

A piano prodigy, Anita Gregory was in show business by the age of 14, being a much in demand rehearsal accompanist on Broadway. After graduating from Manhattanville College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Drama, Anita went on to tour the country with a nightclub act that logged over 3,000 performances in clubs and hotels all over the U.S. Anita was consequently discovered by Warner Bros. Records and signed a lucrative recording contract. Her dance hit “The Man I Love” was the number one record in Europe for 3 consecutive months. As she continued to expand upon her musical talents she began writing songs for many feature films and television shows, including several title songs that she sang on the sound tracks as well.

Having grown up in a show business family, as the daughter of legendary actor Charles Durning (Tony and Golden Globe winner, two-time Academy Award nominee and 9 Emmy nominations), she made the natural transition into screen writing and producing. Anita founded the renowned “Second Avenue Theater Company” and starred in and produced several hit Los Angeles productions, including the L.A. revival of John Patrick Shanley’s (“Moonstruck”) “Savage in Limbo” which earned Anita several Critics Choice nods as producer and actress and rave reviews in the L.A. Times, Variety and Hollywood Reporter.

She has also appeared on numerous television shows and movies including a recurring role on the NBC soap opera “Days of Our Lives”. Some of her films include “Tin Soldier”, “Chicken Soup for the Soul”, “Second Chances”, “Shark Skin” and “Harlen and Merlene.

As a writer and producer, Anita has recently signed several TV productions deals, one with Granada ITV and the others with Target Entertainment. She is also the co-executive producer of the shows. Along with her many television projects, Anita has several feature films currently in development and will be in pre-production by the first of the year.

CAMELCODE LLC

camelCode LLC is a software development team that will be working to advance Big Screen Entertainment Group (Stock: BSEG) digital presence. Earlier this year they were contracted out to create the platform and framework for a digital streaming presence with a Roku channel “Big Stream Entertainment”. camelCode are also working on developing a desktop streaming portal, as well as an Android, and iOS application to deliver content.

The streaming application and platform development team is headed by a skilled set of software engineers. They developing using many of the latest technologies in developing the applications needed for the streaming platform as a whole, but also developing a publishing automation workflow process for the company.
